General Job Requirements:
- Train and oversee kitchen staff on how to prepare menu items
- Up hold plating and portioning standards
- Order ingredients and maintain kitchen inventory
- Enforce proper SSOP (sanitation standard operating procedures)
Education Requirements:
- Sous chef experience (1-2 years)
- Catering experience a plus
- Food handler card or certificate
- Communication skills (English and Spanish a plus)
- Communication skills with event planner and head chef and staff
- Organizational and time management skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
