Executive Chef Providence Red Stripe East Side, LLC. (Encore Hospitality Restaurant Group)

General Job Requirements:

Encore Hospitality Group dba Red Stripe Restaurants is currently looking to hire an experienced Executive Chef. We are looking for a self-driven individual that has experience running a fast paced high volume restaurant while serving high quality, chef-driven food.

Education Requirements:

  • Monitor and utilize inventory to achieve satisfactory food cost.
  • Monitor, motivate and manage BOH employees to achieve satisfactory labor cost.
  • Lead line during service. Ensuring quality, consistency and "Encore" guest experience.
  • Control ordering and inventory management.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, shift management, and inventory control.
  • Ensure that sanitation standards are achieved. The cleanliness and organization of the kitchen must meet or exceed all health department requirements for food safety and sanitation at all times.
  • Maintain control systems which will ensure quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments to ensure they meet established purchasing specifications as well and foster an awareness of the importance of food preparation, sanitation and quality.
  • Represent Red Stripe at off-site charitable events and festivals.
