General Job Requirements:
Quality, service and high standards are very important in our Housekeeping Department to ensure that we meet and exceed customer expectations. Specific responsibilities include:
- Clean bathroom floors and walls by sweeping, mopping scrubbing;
- Change bedding and make beds as directed;
- Stock room supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) as needed;
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, etc.
- Gather and empty trash;
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures;
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors;
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment;
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners;
- Be able to clean 15 rooms daily making all beds, sofa beds, and rollaways;
- Deliver any items requested by guests to room;
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property. Return any found items to supervisors;
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies using a housekeeping cart;
- Deal with any customer queries in an appropriate manner
Education Requirements:
