General Job Requirements:
BASIC PURPOSE:
To assist guests with information and reservations for all the different food and beverage outlets at the resort.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer telephone and take reservations using professional language.
- Answer questions regarding and/or making arrangements for dining, cabanas, the pool, Firepit areas and all other F&B outlets.
- Keep accurate and timely records of all arrangements made.
- Answer all questions concerning directions to availability
- Maintain current information and materials regarding the hotel’s dining outlets
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the city and all its attractions
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Insures an atmosphere of good public relations
- Constant communication with Front Desk department.
- Maintain all common areas in safe and neat condition by correcting problems as they are encountered
- Maintain the Service Desk area
- May be required to perform additional departmental duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Education: High School diploma orequivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years hotel experience
- Skills and Abilities: Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
